1969 Gibson Les Paul Custom “Black”
After several years of discontinuation, Gibson brought the Les Paul back in its original body shape in 1968 with both Standard and Custom models. These instruments featured many of the 50's style construction methods and appointments like single piece mahogany bodies and necks with no headstock volute, longer neck tenons, and carved maple tops on both models. This early 1969 Custom still has these earlier features; a transitional neck tenon, single piece body, and a pair of excellent sounding patent number humbucking pickups. The perfect neck profile is very close to an original '59 size and shape while a professional re-fret makes this a truly phenomenal player. These guitars are becoming harder to find and have found favor with anyone looking for the '50s Les Paul sound without the 6 figure price tag.
1966 Fender Jazz Bass Fiesta Red
This extremely rare, transition-era Custom Color Jazz bass in "Fiesta Red" came to us from the original owner in Italy! This is one of the cleanest examples we've seen of "Fiesta Red" with a matching headstock; the original brilliant finish is strong and unfaded. These instruments are becoming hard to find, especially in this extremely clean condition. This bass includes the original Fender case, made by Polverini Brothers for imported Fender instruments, as well the original chrome covers. If you're looking for a clean example of a "Fiesta Red" Jazz bass, this one is in collector grade condition! EXC w/OHSC.
1954 Gibson Les Paul “Goldtop”
Just in from the original owner! This amazing 1954 Les Paul was the primary guitar of a working musician in upstate New York, and saw plenty of stage use throughout the years. Weighing in at about 8.3 lbs, this light weight example is extremely resonant and features the perfect '54 neck profile with a dark Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. The original "Soap Bar" P90s and wraparound tail piece make for an incredible tone that covers everything from Freddie King to hard rock! This guitar includes an original 4 latch Lifton brown case. If you're looking for a phenomenal playing '54 Goldtop with a ton of history, this guitar is a total winner!
