Dream Guitars of the Week
1965 Gibson SG
An incredible example a "transitional" era Gibson SG, this 1965 model features the earlier and desirable small pickguard, as well as '65 appointments like chrome hardware. Purchased from the original owner, this guitar includes all the original hang tags and a goldenrod interior hardshell case. A professional and nearly undetectable neck reset ensure that this guitar plays perfectly up and down the fingerbaord, while the original pair of Gibson Humbucking pickups make this a stellar sounding guitar.
1966 Fender Stratocaster - Lake Placid Blue
This is easily one of the best sounding "Custom Color" Stratocasters in the shop! The perfect medium "C" shaped neck features a rare, dark Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard with pearl-dot inlays and a transition-era "Fender" logo. Custom Color Stratocasters have become harder to find, and it is very rare to have a mid-60's example with a Brazilian board. The original electronics and pickups are exceptional sounding, and with an original hardshell case, they simply don't get much better than this!
1959 Gibsons ES 335 Dot Neck Sunburst
One of the best sounding ES-335s we've had in the shop! This stellar example from 1959 features a pair of incredible "PAF" humbucking pickups, earlier "Long" Pickguard, original Bigsby tailpiece, and an original brown Lifton case. This collector-grade example is all original, and with the perfect '59 neck profile is a fantastic playing guitar, as well. 1959 was definitely a magical year for Gibson electric guitars, and there is no better proof than this killer dot neck!
