Guitar Collection Ideas for Darrell
Hi Darrell,
I’ve been thinking about your collection and what we might want to try to act on from Songbirds guitars.
Guitars that would compliment your collection would include:
Custom Color Fender Strats
54 Fender Blackguard Tele
64 Gibson SG
63 Gibson Firebird
1961-65 SGs
A variety of early SGs, 61-65, including this clean ‘65, all with nickel hardware. These are the bomb!
FENDERS
1964 Sonic Blue Fender Stratocaster
1963 Fender Stratocaster in Shoreline Gold…very rare.
Of course, there are other choices for the ‘57-‘60 Gibson Les Pauls.
You do not want to miss out on these guitars and he has many to choose from for now, but they won’t last. Let’s get a game plan before they slip away.
1957 LES PAUL
This ‘57 is incredibly clean and is amazing. It’s got the dark back. Amazing guitar. These always remind me of Duane Allman and Brian Ray.
1957 LES PAUL
1962 Fender Jaguar - Burgundy Mist (rare custom color and last of the slab boards from Spring to Summer of ‘62).

Pleased to offer this 1962 Gibson Les Paul (SG). This wonderful player’s grade ‘62 LPSG has had some knocks but some recent refreshing has yielded a ‘62 Les with new life and a great player.
Just refretted and with a new Gibson aged “vintage” sideway vibrola tailpiece, this old Gibson is feeling good on the fretboard but now with improved intonation with the updated tailpiece.
The electronics (pots, wiring, switch, jack) are original. A modern ‘57 Classic bridge pickup but in the neck is the original Patent number sticker PAF.
The neck thin taper with a wide nut but has had a headstock repair. It also appears to have a very thin heel repair and there is overspray over both areas. These appear to be very old and stable repairs.
Priced as a quality player’s grade 1962 Les Paul that has an amazing sound and feel…and it looks pretty cool too. Included original yellow lined case.
