1960 Fender Stratocaster

1960 Fender Stratocaster For Sale

1960 was the golden era of Fender and it is safe to say that the guitar builders at Fender were getting pretty good at building Stratocasters. By 1958 , the Fender Stratocaster was being offered in a new three-color sunburst finish instead of the original two color sunburst.

This 1960 Stratocaster has an near flawless finish that is gentle, almost tobacco flavored Sunburst. with all of the necessary items you would expect to see on a near mint 1960 Fender Stratocaster: green guard, clay dots and rosewood slab fretboard. It’s all original and it is all there.

This 1960 Stratocaster is a true closet queen with no playing wear and couple of very small faint marks, making it 9.6 out of 10.0 in my opinion. They really don’t come any cleaner than this one and it even includes hang tags, case candy and the original sales receipt.

As you can see, there is no playing wear on the neck and looks like it just left the guitar store in 1960.

I know that this guitar is everything I would want in a vintage Stratocaster and is available. Check out my video demo of this beautiful 1960 Strat through a ‘66 Fender Vibrolux amp. Message me for price. *SOLD*
