Gibson G-3 Bass Candy Apple Red Ebony Killer Rare 1982

$3,900.00

Without a doubt this is the coolest bass I have gotten in the past 5 years! The G-3 is by far the scarcest model of the Ripper/Grabber/G3 body style. I have never seen any of these in Candy Apple Red and the ebony fretboard makes it even more desirable. This bass was made about the same time the Victory basses were released so it makes sense that Gibson would crank out a few of these in CAR as well. It's got just the right amount of player wear and yet the frets are still very clean. As cool as it looks this thing is a tone monster that screams "PLAY ME", especially if you favor a pick. Those three single-coil pickups really deliver the goods! I always joke that the huge body makes for a good paddle but this one weighs just 10 1/4 lbs and is super comfy when strapped on. I have an old Dean hard case that fits the bass quite well.
